Whether you’re looking for a place to catch some live music or a place to dance the night away, there are several options for the best Lake Tahoe nightlife. Below are just a few of the many options available.

South Lake Tahoe

Whether you’re looking for a party, a concert, or just an outdoor event, South Lake Tahoe nightlife has something for everyone. With live music, DJ nights, and game nights, there are plenty of ways to make your night one to remember.

South Lake Tahoe nightlife can be enjoyed at a variety of different venues, from local bars and restaurants to casinos. The city’s casinos offer plenty of top-notch cuisine and world-class gaming. There’s also an excellent variety of music venues and upscale lounges.

North Lake Tahoe

Located on the northern shore of Lake Tahoe, Crystal Bay Club Casino & Border House is one of the most exciting Lake Tahoe nightlife spots. This casino is on the California/Nevada border and offers gaming, world class entertainment, and dining. The Crystal Bay Club Casino also hosts shows and a bluegrass music venue, plus a large game floor with more than 270 slot machines and a dozen table games.

Located in the small town of Crystal Bay near Lake Tahoe, this casino has two performance venues. One, the Crown Room, has a capacity of 550, and is the premier spot. Another is the Red Room, which has an intimate setting.

The casino offers a full-service sports book, 17 table games, and 270 popular slot machines. There are also several bars and lounges.

Whiskey Dick’s

Located a few blocks east of the Hyatt Regency in the heart of Tahoe City, the Whiskey Dick’s is a must stop for both residents and tourists alike. One of the original South Tahoe dive bars, the place has been around for almost 40 years, and is still going strong. The venue is a well laid out and comfortable setting, making it a perfect place to kick back and unwind after a long day on the slopes. A full service bar and patio are also on tap, and the weather is usually a nonissue.

Emerald Bay Bar and Grill

Whether you’re looking for a cozy place to have a drink or a swanky club to dance the night away, Lake Tahoe’s nightlife has you covered. Here’s a few of the most popular nightclubs and bars in the area.

If you’re looking for a good time, you’ll want to start your night at Fat Bear’s Bar & Grill, one of the top nightclubs in the Lake Tahoe area. Fat Bear’s has a beautiful view of the lake and plenty of room to dance.

Moody’s Bistro Bar

Located in the historic Truckee Hotel, Moody’s Bistro Bar & Beats is a hip and cozy place to eat and drink. They have live music every Thursday through Saturday, and an extensive wine and beer menu. The best part is that you can take out food and drink for dinner or lunch.

While you’re here, don’t forget to check out their unique outdoor summer patio. It’s a great spot to relax, and can seat up to 50 people. It’s also the perfect spot for an award ceremony or company dinner. You might even get lucky and get a live jazz performance in the evening!

Chase’s Bar and Grill

Located in South Lake Tahoe, Chase’s Bar and Grill serves up New Orleans style cuisine, along with specialty drinks, and an impressive wine list. This lakefront spot is the perfect place to grab a drink after a long flight, or for a night out on the town. It’s also a great place to find a secret aviation spot.

One of the original South Shore dive bars, Whiskey Dick’s has a full bar, outdoor area, and a shuffleboard. It’s a popular destination for pool players and locals, and offers live music on weekends. It also has over a hundred different cocktails to choose from.

Divided Sky

Located at 3200 US Highway 50 in Meyers, the Divided Sky is the place to go for the best of both worlds: fine dining and live music. A quarter mile east of the intersection of Highway 89 and Highway 50, this quaint little establishment offers good food, a nice selection of wines and an overall warm and friendly vibe.

While it is no secret that Divided Sky has been around since the late naughties, owner Brian Levy was juggling a number of different jobs at the time. However, he did manage to carve out some time to put together what he considers to be a legitimate local business.

McP’s

Located on the lake side of Highway 50, McP’s has been a staple of the Tahoe scene for more than a decade. With a solid menu of upscale pub fare, McP’s is the perfect spot to enjoy a craft beer and a few bourbons before or after a day on the slopes. A snazzy bartender is a must, and you can’t beat the view.
